NAI and Young NAI are delighted to invite you to their end-of-year meeting on Thursday 12 December 2019. Following the success of our previous meetings, this event is aimed at bringing together arbitration practitioners in the broadest sense: Dutch and international practitioners, young lawyers, seasoned partners, academics, in-house counsel, judiciary representatives and others.
The topic for this year’s meeting is:
A panel of experts will explore whether it is prudent to modify the NAI Arbitration Rules to reflect the possibility of expedited proceedings, as an additional option to other current tools on offer that allow for parties to resolve their disputes quickly and efficiently. The panel will discuss the topic from different angles (e.g. private practitioner, in-house counsel, academic, arbitrator), and will include Dutch and international speakers.
The preliminary programme includes:
|- 15:30 hrs||Registration at Van Doorne N.V.|
|- 16:00 hrs||Welcome remarks|
|- 16:10 hrs||Expedited Proceedings|
|- 17:30 hrs||NAI’s Outlook - 2020 and beyond|
|- 17:50 hrs||Walking dinner|
The speakers will be announced shortly!
The registration fees amount to € 150,= per person (excluding VAT), and includes a walking dinner. As the number of places is limited, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Placement takes place in the order of registration. Participants are eligible for 1 PO-point (Dutch Bar Association).
We look forward to seeing you at Van Doorne on Thursday 12 December 2019!
